Simulations

Swanson Rink provides in-house dynamic simulation. Our baggage engineers employ their knowledge of baggage designs and operations and use AutoMod software to create accurate simulations to validate the operation and performance of our designs.

Our detailed simulations include:

• Importing 3D models to allow scaled accurate representations of the baggage system being simulated.
• Customizing Model Element Attributes which include Velocity, Resource Availability, Load Types, and Queue Details.
• Adding Basic Control Points including Stations, Photoeyes, Decision Points, and Processes/Code.
• Incorporating PLC Logic including Basic Control Logic and converting the PLC's.
• Analyzing reality based occurrences including Jam Rates, EDS Scanner Availability, and Merge Logic.
• Videos of system operation have proved invaluable in presenting system concepts and operations to clients and the TSA.
