CFD

Swanson Rink utilizes CFD modeling as a tool to analyze new and existing conditions and to predict future performance of data center cooling systems. CFD modeling is utilized to determine conditions that otherwise could not be determined by conventional engineering means, such as predictions of airflow and thermal gradients within the space.

While CFD modeling can provide powerful insights to the thermal performance of a data center, it is an analysis tool that should be used in conjunction with an overall project strategy - not simply as a stand-alone solution.
